Description
This kit is made to upgrade your factory positive and negative wires to increase your cars electrical system. By increasing the size of the wire, it will raise the alternators output voltage which will improve everything’s performance that uses the 12 volt system. For example, ignition, steering, stereo, headlights, etc. When we installed this on our shop Sonic it bumped the voltage .3, other people have reported more. We are not tricking the alternator to put out more voltage, we are just allowing the full voltage from the voltage regulator to make it to the fuse panel and battery. Whatever output voltage you have must have a better ground as well, so we include 2 upgraded ground wires as well.
The Cruze comes with 1 less wire than the Sonic.
Note: The Sonic uses a battery current wire sensor that attaches just below the battery on the negative terminal. The main ground wire going to the battery must be routed through this sensor (looks like a big hook).
