This is the ultimate ignition upgrade for your 1.4 turbo vehicle. After years of testing we have found that our high voltage coil pack paired with our coil booster is the most reliable and best performing combination for ignition on the LUV/LUJ turbo engine. Increasing cylinder pressure on the 1.4 with larger turbos and more boost can quickly lead to ignition related problems like misfires and spark blowout. With our ignition upgrade combo you can ensure worry free performance, no matter the boost level. Other vendors may state that their ignition upgrade works well, but none have made enough power to push the ignition system to this level.

To get the most out of your ignition combo a new set of spark plugs is recommended. We find the NGK 1 step colder, BKR7E plug to be the most reliable, found here. We also recommend upgrading the power and ground wires with our Big 3/4 wire kit for the Sonic or Cruze, found here.
